Possible Problems

Q: On the (D) Data Entry sheet, all of our income and expense figures are entered and the net income displayed is incorrect?
A: Often times when this happens the user has not included the expense amount for the provision for loan loss in the total operating expenses (D sheet, row 8)

Q: The graph on C9 does not seem to work?
A: This graph is generated based on options chosen in the BD1 worksheet-Monthly Graphs button. When selecting the button; you will see the various choices for of charting options. The C9 worksheet will graph the credit union's current year actual progress compared to the business plan goals. For this graph to produce meaningful results, the monthly financial information must be kept current and the current year business plan must be completed.

Q: On the ratio sheet, our credit union size and State is incorrect, how can I change this?
A: Please go to the Aho option on the main menu (usually on the top right hand corner of your screen) choose options. On the second option from the top is where the State can be changed and on the third option from the top is where the credit union size can be changed.

Q: The numbers and column headings on some worksheets are too small or large to read, how can I adjust this?
A: Please go to View, choose zoom and look to see what the percentage is. You can now adjust this for the best view for your computer.

Q: My credit union's name is not displaying correctly. How can I change it?
A: You can change your credit union's name by re-registering your software. To re-register, have your credit union's Company ID and Serial Number handy. Open your Insight Planning workbook. From the toolbar, select Tools, Macro, and then Macros. From the list of macros that appears, select "Register." The software will walk you through the registration steps. You will be asked for your credit union's name. Be sure to enter the name as you would like it to appear in the software. You will also be asked for your Company ID and Serial Number. If you do not know your Company ID or Serial Number, please email us at and we will be happy to provide you with this information.

Q: My credit union uses Windows and/or Office XP. Will Insight work with XP?
A: Insight Planning Software is XP compatible; however, from time-to-time, Microsoft creates updated versions of XP that conflict with Insight. If you have recently installed a new version of Windows XP, and believe that you are experiencing related problems with Insight (macros failing to work, Insight software freezing once it opens, etc.), please contact us, and we will help you to investigate and resolve the problem.
