The selected ideas can be entered into the worksheet just as they would be written on a flip chart during the brainstorming portion of the planning process. After the ideas are listed, the team can vote to determine the ideas they believe will have the greatest impact on achieving the credit union’s objective. Each team member can vote three times and assign three points for the idea that they think will have the most impact, two votes for the next idea, and one vote for the third place finisher.  After the votes are counted for each idea, the number of votes can be entered in the far right column of the worksheet.

After all votes are recorded, use the sort button (on the top, right hand side of each table) to sort the ideas in order of the votes received.  The CEO can be given veto power over the ideas.   

The top three ideas are automatically placed into the Strategic Planning (T) chart.
